Did you know that in order to validate your factory warranty, you must show proof that you have performed your vehicle's basic maintenance schedule?

Have you ever looked at your owners manual to see what is expected of you, the owner, in the way of vehicle maintenance? Or maybe you have more than one vehicle, and each has its own "basic" maintenance schedule. The words "regular" and "basic" maintenance can be confusing to say the least!

Each manufacturer has their own ideas on what is basic required maintenance, usually based on how they promote and sell that particular vehicle. The good news is that at AUTOMaster, you can get a straightforward answer on your vehicle's maintenance needs.

The first thing that needs to be understood is that any vehicle operating in Colorado falls under the "severe" usage schedule. This is one point nearly all of the manufacturers agree on. Colorado is a great place to live, but it is very hard on your vehicle!

At AUTOMaster, we follow the maintenance schedules published by the trade associations (ASE, ASA, ATRA, etc.), which are based on real world experience in their specified fields of expertise.

At AUTOMaster, we check all belts and hoses with every oil change. We also check your brakes, all fluids, filters, the differential, and the complete undercarriage of your vehicle while we have it up in the air. We look for oil or coolant leaks, tire wear, worn suspension parts and at your shocks or struts. If we find anything wrong, we inform you of our findings and at that time we can give you an estimate. We will never do any work without prior approval. All of our billing is computerized, so we will always have a record of what has been done, and what needs attention in the future.
